TizzLook - Smoked blue/gold

Alright, so my friend messages me asking me to do her makeup (I usually have a bad reaction to this, get all nervous that I'm gonna screw that right up and make her look like a clown) and I agreed to do it. SAFE TO SAY SHE DID NOT LOOK LIKE A CLOWN!!!!!!

This is my go-to look that I've been doing for a few years (ever since I got the Quo Blue Lagoon duo) because I think the colour is so beautiful on and off a human. I just fiddled around in the bathroom one night and out came something that looked decent. So I just kept building on it. I don't know the names of each individual shade but their is a blue & brown one.

The blue one is absolutely beautiful (I'll do a swatch later or something). It's actually a gold with a blue/green shimmer. After Half Baked/Amber Lights this is my favourite colour. The Brown one is pretty dark and very glittery (they're fat flakes) not as pigmented but it makes for good darkening of the crease. I went to go buy this palette again but couldn't find it so it looks like they discontinued it #majorsadface. It was sorta expensive for drugstore (Shoppers Drug Mart, Canadian retailer) but I've had it for 2 years and I love it and I would totes pay $20 for another backup.

Her eyelids are really hooded like mine but i left room to have a nice blend to her brow. I also compensated by applying a thin layer of eyeliner because she couldn't keep her eyes still either (lol). SO I APOLOGIZE FOR THE CROOKEDASS LINER. She's blessed with naturally long and curly lashes so I just slapped some mascara on those puppies and I thought it worked out.

My friend used her own face stuff (I can find out if you're curious) but she mixed in a few LUSH products with MAC foundations to even out her complexion and add a glow. She used a MAC blush too.

EYES:
Primer is MAC Prep & Prime (lid - she has discolouration on one lid, I used this to conceal and even out the eyes) as well as UDPP (mostly brow/crease)
Inner - Half Baked from UD Naked palette
Middle - blue from Quo Minerals Matter Eye Duo in Blue Lagoon
Brow bone - Virgin from UD Naked palette all over & Motif from MAC right under the arch
Crease base - a mix of Creep and Gunmetal from UD Naked palette
Blending colour - brown from Quo Minerals Matter Eye Duo in Blue Lagoon
Maybelline Great Lash mascara in Blackest Black
UD 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Liner in Perversion

LIPS:
Nature's Blush by L'Oreal
A bonnebell gloss with a pink tint that she had on her

I bought this lip colour because it was on an Indian beauty blog BUT it was too light for me but looks great on her!
